A POPULAR Evesham pensioners’ group has been handed £500 towards more crafty chat for members.
Members of the Evesham and District Pensioners Association’s committee met at Tesco last Thursday (August 3) to collect a cheque from the supermarket’s popular blue token scheme.
The cheque was for the Crafty Chat Group which meets at Wallace House fortnightly for those who want to learn a new craft, bring along their own craft, or just come from a chat.
Claire Plowman, Tesco Evesham’s Community Champion was on hand for the presentation to committee members Ann Dingley, Ann Williams, Jenny Johnson, Ann Saunders, Shirley and Mervyn Leggett and Fred Kaler.
