A CRAFT fayre in honour of a brave Evesham girl who underwent open heart surgery when she was just three days old will be held in Childswickham.
The event will take place at Leedons Park next Saturday (November 18) in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Craft stalls, refreshments and a raffle with a top prize of dinner and overnight stay for two at the Wood Norton will be among the entertainment at the event in honour of Bethan Edwards.
The youngster has had a severe heart defect from birth which means she only has half a heart and will inevitably at some point in the future require a heart transplant.
Last year’s event raised more than £1,500 which, when pooled with other fund-raising activities, meant Bethan’s mum Mandy donated £2,400 to the hospital at the end of 2016. Visit www.bethan.org.uk for more.
