COUNTERFEIT tobacco was seized following an operation between Evesham police officers and Worcestershire Trading Standards.
The crackdown took place on Wednesday (June 16) across the town and saw a large haul of fake and illegal tobacco seized by trading standards teams and members of West Mercia Police’s Safer Neighbourhood Team in Evesham.
