WORCESTERSHIRE County Council’s Resident Roadshow will be at the Pershore Plum Festival to find out what is most important to Wychavon residents.
The fourth roadshow of the countywide tour will be coming to the Plum Festival this Sunday, August 28 at Abbey Park between 9.30am and 5.30pm.
Councillors and staff will be in attendance to share information and take residents’ questions about the services it provides.
There will be a chance to explore how the council tax money is spent and will also show information about the council’s Corporate plan, ‘Shaping Worcestershire’s Future’.
The county’s public health team will be at the event encouraging people to learn new exercises and they will also be giving away resistance bands.
County council leader Coun Simon Geraghty said: “It has been brilliant bringing the resident roadshows to events across the county, and I’m pleased that residents have engaged with our council staff and councillors about the issues that matter most to them in their local communities.
“Pershore Plum Festival has been a popular event for us over the years, and I’m really hopeful that will be the case this year.
For the first time this year, there will be a digital roadshow for those who would like to comment but can’t make the digital events.
