A RALLYING call has been issued to local residents to help keep Evesham tidy and join in the latest litter pick organised by a popular town group.
Members of the Evesham Town Anti-Litter Group will meet on Saturday (October 10) at 10.30am on the junction of Peewit Road and Maryman’s Road.
The group was formed in November 2016 in response the Evesham Town Plan after 1,200 residents responded to a survey about the town and many commented on the increase in litter and grot spots, damaging the beauty of the town.
Anyone interested in helping to improve the town’s cleanliness can become part of the litter pickers. All litter picking equipment will be provided, including a vest, gloves and bin bags.
