Conservatives win Evesham North seat in Worcestershire County Council by-election

A NEW Worcestershire County Councillor has been elected for Evesham North.

Conservative Mark Sidney Goodge took the seat in yesterday’s by-election, beating Labour’s David Tasker by 202 votes.

Liberal Democrat Oliver Walker finished third on 245 and Independent John Campbell-Muir was fourth on 237.

The turn-out was 21.8 per cent.
