Concern over missing Pershore man

Evesham Editorial 30th Dec, 2017   0

OFFICERS from West Mercia Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing man from Pershore, John Machin.

John was last seen on Christmas Eve, where it is believed he has driven his vehicle, a blue Jaguar XF with the registration M2CHN, to a car park off Bridge Street (B4084) near Pershore.

John is described as a white man in his 70s, with short greying hair, wearing glasses.

Sgt Steve Tandy said: “We are doing everything we can to locate John and return him to his family.

“I would ask that anyone who may have seen him from Sunday, December 24 onwards to contact police. It is a time of year that most people remember where they were, what they were doing and who they were with, so if anyone saw something which could help with our enquiries, please do contact police on 101 quoting reference 169s 281217.”

Information can also be given to the Missing People Charity on 116 000.
