GET ready to giggle as Lee Hurst, the star of the hit BBC sport’s quiz They Think It’s All Over, ITV’s Saturday Live is back with his first national stand-up tour in six years.
A firm favourite on the comedy circuit, Lee semi-retired from comedy years ago… but now he’s back and coming to Evesham Town Hall with a brand new show next month.
The gig, promoted by Evesham Live (part of Evesham Arts Association), starts at 7.30pm, on September 21 at the historic, licensed venue in the heart of the town.
Keith Norledge from Evesham Live, said: “Lee is back on the road and we are pleased he’s stopping off in Evesham as he travels around the country with his new tour.
“Those of us who remember him back in the 90s and early 2000s will remember he’s quick witted, and doesn’t hold back on his opinions!”
Apparently, Lee believes if everyone takes the micky, the world would be a happier place. So audiences are invited to see him do just that. You’ve been told.
