Child taken to hospital after crash on New Road

A CHILD has been taken to hospital after the car they were in crashed into two parked vehicles.

Emergency services were called to New Road at 4.49pm this evening (Wednesday).

Police believe a Volkswagen Golf collided with two parked vehicles.

West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene and a male toddler, a passenger in the Volkswagen Golf as well as a woman in her 30s, were treated for minor injuries and were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.




A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.49pm today to reports of a collision on New Road, Evesham.

“Appears collision between a VW Golf and two parked vehicles.


“Ambulance in attendance. Child passenger in the Golf being taken to hospital.”

A West Midlands Ambulance Spokesman said: “There were two patients – one of whom was a woman in her 30s and a young male toddler.

“They were both treated for minor injuries and taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital in the same ambulance.”
