A HGV driver was taken to hospital with ‘serious’ injuries following a three vehicle crash on a busy Evesham road.
Emergency services were called to the B4035 Badsey Road just beyond the Badsey roundabout at 10.20am this morning following the collision between two HGVs and a car.
The road was closed in both directions in and out of the village after the incident.
A paramedic officer, two ambulances and the Midlands Air Ambulance were called to the scene.
All of the occupants of the car were uninjured following the incident while both HGV drivers were treated at the scene and both were taken to hospital for further treatment.
One of the drivers is said to have serious injuries while the second driver is being treated for minor injuries.
The road has now re-opened.
