Claire Dyson Racing in Cleeve Prior marks 13 years supporting Midlands Air Ambulance

THE CLAIRE Dyson Racing and Rehabilitation team, located in Cleeve Prior, is marking 13 years of ongoing dedication to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Business owner Claire Dyson’s ongoing support of the local pre-hospital emergency service is in memory of Charlotte Cole.

Charlotte was the former head girl of Claire Dyson Racing and Rehabilitation and was involved in a horse-related incident in 2011.

Despite the best efforts of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s advanced clinicians on scene, she later died in hospital.

The most recent fundraising event on October 11 took the amount generated for the cause over the past 13 years to an impressive £125,000. This staggering amount will help the charity fulfil its mission to rapidly reach and treat those in critical need of advanced patient care.

Claire said: “The equestrian world knows just how vital the air ambulance is.

“We often train in remote areas, and when accidents happen, they can be serious.

“My team and I are proud to have stood alongside Roger and Diane Cole for the past 13 years, raising over £125,000 in Charlotte’s memory.

“We hope our support helps others in their hour of need.”

Associate clinical operations director at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, Julian Spears, said: “We’re very grateful to Claire Dyson and Roger and Diane Cole for their continued support.

“Unfortunately, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is called out to a horse rider every four days on average.

“Their generosity has allowed us to reach more patients who were in urgent need of our lifesaving service.”
