ORGANISERS of a birthday party with a difference are hoping the sun will be shining on Evesham this weekend.
To celebrate the birth of the Christian Church, the Evesham churches have joined together to stage a free fun day for Vale residents young and old.
The Church Birthday Party Fun Day will be held on Sunday (May 25) at Workman Gardens from 10.30am to 4pm.
Following a short celebration service at 10.30am, great activities for all the family will fill the rest of the day.
Three bouncy castles to cover all ages, a free BBQ, face painting, outdoor games, tea, coffee and muffins are all on the menu.
And with the Britain’s Got Talent semi finals just around the corner, the day will also see Evesham showcase its own home-
grown entertainers.
Comedians and an open mike session will take to the stage througout the day to entertain the crowds.
A spokesman for the organisers said: “So instead of joining queues of cars trapped on the motorway spending lots of money on fuel and parking, come down to see what Evesham has to offer.
