Christmas dog parade at The Valley a howling success

Evesham Editorial 29th Dec, 2018   0

DOG lovers were in festive spirit for The Valley’s Christmas Dog Parade on Christmas Eve.

The wonderfully wacky world of eccentric dog lovers and Christmas came together again on Sunday for the annual Valley Christmas dog parade.

Hundreds of people and their pooches dressed in Christmas outfits for the parade. Poodles (and owners!) dressed as elves, whippets as shepherds even a entire family dressed in the theme of Narnia’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe!.

Phil Maclean, marketing manager at The Valley, said “This is our favourite event of the year! It’s always a great festive atmosphere and shows the very best side of the good old British humour.”

The event raises money for the Teckels’ Animals Sanctuary, which cares for homeless cats and dogs.
