A PERSHORE a cappella group have chosen a new charity to support in the coming year.

Vale Harmony has selected St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester after raising £1,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.

Newly-elected chairman of the group, John Franks, said: “I’m really looking forward to our men’s chorus enjoying a great year of entertaining the public and raising funds for St Richard’s.

“The months ahead may be hard but I’m sure we can bring some joy and fun to our audiences while at the same time supporting a great cause,” he said.

“If you’ve never sung a cappella before and enjoyed the pure sound of just men’s voices singing with no musical accompaniment, now is the time to try.”

Any singers who would like to help the group in their endeavours can visit the website at www.valeharmony.co.uk or call or text 07766 524833.
