A HOST of bonfires and firework displays will be taking place across the Vale this weekend and the Observer has put together this handy guide to let you know where and when they are happening.

Pershore Town Council’s firework display takes place on today. Pershore Football Club is hosting the event on the King George’s Playing Fields and gates open at 4pm. The club will be providing hot food.

The Lenches Club’s bonfire night also returns on today. The popular event kicks off at 7pm and costs £4 for adults and £2 for children. There will be a BBQ a fully licensed bar and much more.

The Golden Cross Pub in Harvington is holding a free bonfire and fireworks display on Today. It kicks off at 6.30pm, with the fireworks display at 7pm. A BBQ and disco will also be taking place at the pub.




From 7pm on today at The Fleece Inn in Bretforton the pub is offering a magical and more traditional way to celebrate Bonfire night with stationary engines, and vintage Tilley lanterns. Entry to the event is free.

Evesham Town Council’s annual bonfire and fireworks display takes place on Sunday on Corporation Meadow. Gates open at 6.15pm, with the bonfire lit at 7.15pm and fireworks display at 8pm. There will be food stalls and family entertainment on offer. Tickets cost £4 for adults and £2 for children aged five to 12-years-old.
