Charity plea for local mentors

Rob George 3rd Nov, 2018   0

LOCAL charity is on the hunt for volunteers mentors from Evesham to provide to young people in schools to listen to them and support them with their learning.

Mentor Link provides one to one mentoring support to improve youngsters self-esteem, relationships and engagement in learning at more than 90 schools across the West Midlands.

Volunteers who can spare an hour a week and have an interest in supporting a young person to achieve their full potential are being sought.

Mentors are safely recruited and fully trained to provide regular support to children and young people and have an excellent track record of success in achieving positive outcomes.

Mentor Link requires two character references and enhanced DBS clearance and the charity will provide induction training, travelling expenses, on-going training and a dedicated team of support staff.
