Charity chiefs offer Good Mood Food

Rob George 24th Aug, 2020 Updated: 28th Aug, 2020   0

CHARITY chiefs at Ourside Youth Association will be running their alternative summer programme until the end of August.

Usually the charity would be putting on free and subsidised trips and activities for the young people of Evesham and the surrounding areas, but this is not possible due to COVID-19.

Instead they have launched Good Mood Food which runs three sessions a week. During these sessions young people can come to the centre and get a free take away lunch and chat to a youth worker if they want. They also have a ‘Take what you need stand’ full of items from hand sanitiser, gloves and masks to bathroom goodies and stationery,

Sessions are running during the following times.

Tuesday 12 – 2pm

Wednesday 5:30 – 7:30pm

Thurs 12 – 2pm

The centre is located behind the Bengeworth Church Hall on Broadway Road. This has all been made possible due to funding from Wychavon District Council and Worcestershire Community Foundation.
