Chance to swing by Evesham Adventure Playground to speak to local councillors

VOTERS who live or work in Evesham South are invited to come and discuss local issues with their councillors as part of Wychavon’s latest Meet Your Council event.

The informal drop-in session will take place at Evesham Adventure Playground, Woodlands, on Wednesday August, 3 between 10am and 2pm.

Councillors Ed Cohen and Julie Tucker, who represent Evesham South on Wychavon District Council, are keen to hear from residents, businesses and community groups about the issues that are important to them. They will also be able to provide updates on projects affecting the area.

Many people will be in attendance as part of an activity day celebrating the 40th anniversary of Evesham Adventure Playground. The councillors will have their own gazebo, where anyone is welcome to drop by and ask any questions they may have.

The event is one of a series of Meet Your Council sessions that are being held across Wychavon over the coming months, helping to strengthen links with local communities.

Coun Julie Tucker said: “I always enjoy meeting residents and seeing how I can help them with any concern or query. I’m looking forward to the event – together we can make our community an even better place.”

Coun Ed Cohen said: “It’s a pleasure to meet the people I’ve been elected to represent. Please come along if you get the chance and find out more about what’s happening in our area.”

If you cannot make the event, but have a question or issue you would like support with, then please email Coun Ed Cohen at [email protected] or 07989217539, or Cllr Julie Tucker at [email protected].
