A WORCESTERSHIRE artist has generously donated one of her original paintings for a charity raffle in aid of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity’s Covid-19 Appeal.

Talented local artist Hayley Reynolds of Baby Marble Designs, has donated a stunning copper and acrylic painting titled ‘Rainbow Falls’ for the charity raffle.

The Covid-19 Appeal was launched by Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity in March to support staff and patients to ensure Worcestershire’s hospitals can continue to offer the best possible support during the Coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to huge local support the appeal has already raised more than £100,000.

Hayley sells her work both nationally and internationally and currently exhibits several works in Pershore, Worcester and London; also taking on a wide range of commissions.

Hayley who is based in Cropthorne, said: “This is an extremely difficult time and I think it’s incredibly important we come together to support each other in times like these. The intention was to capture the continuous flow of energy and life. I hope my donation will help in supporting the staff of the hospital and bring some love and joy to the lucky winner”.

Kathryn Hankins, the nurse at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust who organised the raffle, said: “I know how many people will benefit from the raffle and the money raised will have an immediate impact on our patients and staff”.

Jason Levy from Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity, said: “Hayley’s generous and unique donation further demonstrates the passion and commitment of the people of Worcestershire in supporting our patients and staff through this pandemic.’
