COUNCIL chiefs have extended an invitation to town resident to attend the annual town meeting with a difference.
As the title of the meeting indicates, it is held in the town, chaired by the Mayor but it is not a Town Council meeting.
All electors in Evesham are welcome and may attend. The meeting will be held via video conferencing platform Zoom https://us02web.zoom.us/join.
For security reasons residents will need to contact the Town Clerk via e-mail in advance of the meeting to
get the meeting ID and password – e-mail [email protected] for more.
Due to the global pandemic there will be a short summary of highlighting the actions of the council’s committees.
During the meeting, electors will be able to put questions to the Town Council on Town Council responsibilities: four allotment sites, three cemeteries, All Saints Churchyard and the closed Churchyard at St Peters (Bengeworth) and Hampton Churchyard, Christmas lights, the Charter Market, Evesham Town Hall (first floor), Bonfire/Firework event, the floral planters and troughs around Evesham and the Almonry Museum and Tourist Information Centre.
The meeting will be held tomorrow (Monday) at 6.30pm
