BADSEY residents will have the chance to meet their local councillor at a popular flower show next week.
Coun Mark Goodge will be available at Badsey Flower Show from 1pm next Saturday (July 20) to answer any queries and talk about what Wychavon is doing in the area.
The show, which will be held on the Recreation Ground on Sands Lane in Evesham, offers an afternoon of family-friendly fun with stalls, shows, competitions and refreshments.
Wychavon Roadshow will also be at the show offering free activities including a Batak Wall, Smoothie Bike, as well as sports and circus skills.
The Meet Your Council events get councillors and council officers out to meet people in their wards. The events provide a positive way for residents and businesses to make sure that their views and suggestions are heard.
Coun Goodge said: “I am looking forward to meeting local residents at one of Badsey’s most popular events of the year. This is a great opportunity for me to engage with the community, create connections and listen to the needs of the public.”
