JUGGLING, plate-spinning, puppet shows and more will be on offer across Evesham and Pershore next week as part of a series of free, fun-filled workshops.
Families can enjoy puppet shows featuring Punch and Judy, a mechanical organ, street marionettes and balloon modelling starting at Abbey Park in Evesham on Tuesday (July 31) before moving to Abbey Park in Pershore the following day.
On each day there will be three, 30 minute shows near the bandstands at each park at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
From feather balancing, low stilts and plate spinning to fun bikes, juggling and low tightrope, and children also will have the chance to learn something new whilst having fun at the Community Circus Skills Workshops.
The workshops will be held from 11am to 3pm near the bandstands at Abbey Park in Evesham on August 14 and Abbey Park in Pershore on August 21.
Special guest, the Great Raymondo, will also be showcasing his skills in a magic show.
Coun Emma Stokes, portfolio holder for Environment and Street Scene, said: “We have a full programme of fun-filled activities for children and families to take advantage of over the summer holidays.
“Sometimes it can be tricky to come up with new ideas to keep children entertained but these circus workshops and the puppet shows are a perfect way to make sure they are having fun and learning something new at the same time.”
