Chance to be voice for hospital radio

Evesham Editorial 24th Jul, 2014 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

KIND-HEARTED Vale residents who think they have a voice for radio are being asked to volunteer for Evesham Hospital Radio (EHR).

EHR has been providing entertainment to the town’s hospitals for almost 40 years as well as a disco and roadshow for local events.

And to continue making music, bosses hope local people will come forward and make their voices heard.

No experience is needed for the role as the friendly team will train applicants behind the microphone.

Anyone aged 16 and above is invited to apply as long as they are available for a couple of hours each weekend and are willing to get involved with fund-raising activities.

A love of music is also required for the the whole and bosses hope to recruit a range of new talents to take the station forward.

Volunteers have supported a vast array of events over the past four decades and will be in attendance at the Badsey Flower

Show this weekend.

EHR manager Pete Challenger said: “Everyone has an entertainer inside them so why not apply to join us and put your talent to a worthy cause.”

Call Pete on 01386 556463 or 07746 012135, e-mail [email protected] or visit www.eveshamhospitalradio.co.uk for more information.
