THREE men made off with cash following an armed robbery at Tesco on Worcester Road in the early hours of Tuesday morning (December 9).
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the raid which took place between 12.35am and 12.40am.
The men entered the store, which is open throughout the night, and used crowbars to force open the tills in the self scan area, placing money in a large holdall before they left the store.
The offenders made off in a silver or grey coloured vehicle which was driven in the direction of the Greenhill and Worcester Road junction.
Det Insp Andy Price, investigating the incident, said: “Thankfully nobody was injured during the incident.
“Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police take such offences very seriously and inquiries are ongoing to bring these offenders to justice and to protect people from harm.
“We are eager to hear from anyone who saw a car of this description in the area at the time.
