Caring Greyhound group paddle for good cause

Rob George 5th May, 2016 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016

CARING members of Pershore Greyhounds Community Dragon Boat Group completed a sponsored charity paddle along the Sharpness and Gloucester canal.

Using just two of their 10 man boats, the 21 paddlers and helms raised £2,060 for Medicins Sans Frontiers.

Mercia Inshore Rescue donated their safety services to the event and the group have thanked all of their generous sponsors for their support.

The Greyhounds meet weekly on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings at The Angel Hotel Gardens in Pershore.
