A CARING Evesham family raised more than £2,500 for the Trusts Cystic Fibrosis Fund at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust with year-long programme of events.
Tina Roberts and her family collected the cash in memory of her sister Wendy Jennings who passed away with Cystic Fibrosis.
The inspiring family have celebrated what would have been Wendy’s 50th birthday year by taking part in a series of challenges and events.
These have included the Evesham 10k run, a bungee jump and a grand draw at Evesham’s Northwick Hotel.
All of the money raised is going towards purchasing new exercise equipment which will help Cystic Fibrosis patients.
Jo Colley, specialist physiotherapist in Cystic Fibrosis, said: “We are extremely grateful for all their efforts, and the money raised will significantly improve the exercise equipment we currently have for CF patients as well as more equipment and resources for clinic.
