EVESHAM MP Nigel Huddleston lent his support to carers across the Vale as part of the national Carers Week 2015 awareness campaign.

The week which ran from Monday (June 8) to Sunday (June 14) called on individuals, organisations and services to support and join the 10,543 carers in Mid Worcestershire, who work tirelessly to reach out and support vulnerable people.

Mr Huddleston said: “Carers make a hugely valuable contribution to society and they need support to carry on the work they do, that is why I supported this initiative to encourage services in my community to think about the needs of carers.”

Diana Walles, Carers Week manager said: “It’s fantastic to see MPs supporting carers and we’re continuing to call on individuals and organisations to think about what they can do to improve the lives of carers in their community.”
