A CANCER support charity which supports those at Worcestershire Breast Haven Unit, needs help from Evesham and Pershore residents and businesses.
From Me to You needs to raise money to cover the cost of sending letters to the centre this Christmas.
Its Christmas appeal aims to get as many letters donated and distributed as possible and has been a huge success. More than 2,500 letters have been received this month.
But the charity is now struggling with postage costs to get the letters to people who have requested one this Christmas.
Alison Hitchcock, co-founder of From Me to You said:
“We are the victim of our own success with our Christmas appeal – generating thousands of donated letters from kind-hearted people.
“But we now need to raise the funds to get them into the hands of those who need them.
“Just £3.75 can pay for five letters to be posted out to cancer patients – that’s the price of a coffee, or half a glass of wine, or a pack of mince pies”.
