Can you help out at Wallace House Community Centre?

Evesham Editorial 13th May, 2016 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

A RALLYING call has been issued for volunteers to roll up their sleeves and help out with the day-to-day running of a popular Evesham youth and community centre.

Wallace House Community Centre is looking for caring members of the community to look after the reception, answer telephones, show visitors around the centre and staff the coffee bar.

Wallace House, situated in the centre of Evesham is home to dozens of user groups of all ages meeting throughout the day.

Volunteering can make a real difference to your own life and the lives of those around you; job-seekers and young people have the opportunity to gain work experience and the skills and experience of older people and retirees are always welcome.

Wallace House is committed to equity and equality for all and welcomes volunteers from all age groups and walks of life who can offer some time on a regular or ad-hoc basis.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer can find out more during an open day on Thursday (May 19) from midday to 2pm.

Call centre manager Lynda Huggan on 01386 446580 for more information.
