Campaigners welcome return of PlumLine

CAMPAIGN chiefs have welcomed the restoration of Pershore’s popular PlumLine bus service.

The long established round town bus service which also links with Pershore station and Pinvin has not run since the lockdown in March due to the fact a number of the drivers were shielding

The popular service, first introduced way back in 1986, operates an off peak hourly service on Mondays to Saturdays around the town, provides local schools journeys and is run by LMS Travel of Worcester.

“The PlumLine provides a vital service for those making shopping trips and essential journeys into the town,” said Vale Public Transport Group chairman Julian Palfrey.




“Many regular users had expressed concerns about its withdrawal and whether it would ever come back and we very much welcome its restoration.”
