CALLOUS thieves knocked over a statue in an Evesham cemetery in an apparent attempt to steal it.
The five foot tall statue in the graveyard of Waterside Cemetery was damaged sometime on Saturday, November 18.
Anyone who may have information on the incident is urged to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 0243S of Sunday, November 19.
