MEMBERS of a popular Evesham arts group have put their names in the frame for future success following a visit from artist Rosemary Frith.
Evesham Garage Art Group chief Pam White was inspired to make contact with the artist after seeing one of her creations at a local art exhibition.
And kind-hearted Rosemary was only too happy to accept the invitation to share her experiences and help members of the group showcase their creativity and learn new skills.
“The group became highly motivated and eager to begin painting. I left them with ideas of colour, shape and design to create their own images on canvases,” Rosemary said.
“I returned to view their finished work and I was highly impressed with their end results, a credit to themselves and to the teachers who had encouraged them on the way.”
All are welcome to see Rosemary demonstrate her artwork at Garage Art Group’s event to celebrate World Mental Health Day in association with ‘Time to Change’ on Saturday, October 13 from 10.30am to 2pm at Evesham Town Hall.
Garage Art Group provides art and craft sessions for all with the focus on art for well-being. The sessions are for all ages and abilities including children, adults with mental health and learning disabilities.
