Brewing up some festive cheer

A PERSHORE school helped to spread some festive cheer by hosting a coffee morning for more than 100 of the town’s residents as the countdown till Christmas Day draws closer.

Students from Pershore High School last Monday (December 14) welcomed more than 150 residents to the school for their annual senior citizens coffee morning.

Christmas cheer was in full swing as the residents were treated to traditional carols, gifts, festive treats and were entertained by the staff and pupils.

Headteacher Clive Corbett said: “It was a fantastic occasion and we were delighted to have the opportunity to wish our community members a Happy Christmas.”
