Boost for guests with sensory needs at Honeybourne landmark

Evesham Editorial 23rd Mar, 2023   0

A HONEYBOURNE visitor attraction has partnered with KultureCity to enhance its ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs.

Providing an inclusive experience for all guests during all events, All Things Wild is striving to raise awareness of the needs and challenges faced by individuals with sensory processing needs.

Staff undergo annual training and now offer the KultureCity sensory bag which include KCVIP Badges, a feelings thermometer, fidget tools, noise cancelling headphones and a weighted lap pad.

The sensory bags are available for checkout at no extra cost, visitors simply need to report to the main reception and leave some details with the front-of-house staff.

The wildlife centre also has new signage around the site indicating advised ‘Headphone Zones’ and ‘Quiet Areas’
