PUPILS and staff at a Pinvin school are making the most out of a new library which opened on its grounds for the new term.
Constructed by Space Systems UK during the summer break, the new building at Pinvin CE First School houses a library, as well as a staff working room and additional toilets.
Andrew Best, executive headteacher of the Main Street school, said: “This wonderful, purpose built environment will encourage all our pupils to utilise the library facilities to support curriculum work, as well as to aid them in reading for pleasure.”
Rebecca Chatterton, head of the school, said: “As part of the project, we were also able to enlarge our reception class’ outside play area and improve our fencing, strengthening our commitment to safeguarding arrangements.”
