A MAJOR retailer has revealed when it will be officially opening the doors of its brand new Evesham store.
Discount chain B&M has confirmed to the Observer its Worcester Road store will open on Wednesday, March 22 and has created more than 40 jobs.
Planning permission was granted for the build in April 2015. Builders then moved on site back in May last year to knock down the former Midlands Electricity Depot building to revitalise the derelict site.
B&M is one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers and residents can expect to find a wide variety of products ranging from toys, food & drink, a pet range, health & beauty and homeware.
It will also boast an extensive DIY, decorating and furniture range, as well as its very own garden centre.
A spokesperson from B&M said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.
“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door in a few weeks.”
