BIN collections will continue across Wychavon district on Monday (September 19) on the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
Those due to have their bins collected are asked to put it out by 7am as usual.
The decision has sparked some criticism online with residents urging the council to ‘think again’ with some accusing Civic Centre bosses of a ‘lack of respect’.
Wychavon’s policy is to collect bins as normal on all Bank Holidays except Christmas Day and New Year.
