YOUNGSTERS at a Vale first school ‘tied the knot’ when they staged their own mock wedding.
Year two pupils at Swan Lane First School enjoyed a traditional wedding service at All Saints Church in Market Place on Tuesday (October 7).
Saying ‘I do’ wasn’t all the pupils learnt however, as the morning also saw them use computers to make invitations prior to the wedding and write a report of the event in the aftermath.
Six-year-old Saffron Williams and Toby Baker, also six, played the part of the bridge and groom respectively and following the ceremony they listened to wedding speeches and enjoyed a wedding breakfast.
