Evesham Editorial 23rd Jan, 2015 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

BELLS Across the Meadow will be ringing out at All Saints Church for a concert in aid of Evesham’s Bell Tower Appeal.

The evening of events takes place on Saturday, Feburary 7 from 7.30pm and features the combined talents of local pianist and composer, Marcel Zidani, together with the Bretforton Silver Band.

The popular silver band performed for the appeal at the wonderful Monk’s Supper held last October. Marcel lives locally and was married in All Saints.

He has performed extensively as a soloist in Europe, as well as giving concerts locally and in the Midlands.

Last summer he performed at a concert for the appeal, together with the local choirs, Kids Aloud and Mums Aloud.

He has given master classes, adjudicated for music competitions, performed at music festivals all over the country, and is a devoted piano teacher.

Many of Marcel’s students have won Worcestershire Young Musician competitions and other esteemed prizes.

Marcel’s CD ‘Life Cycle’ has been described by Gold Dust Music as ‘Virtuosic’ and ‘from the heart’.

You can listen to Marcel’s recordings, read reviews and view performances on his website www.marcelzidani.co.uk or on YouTube

Tickets for the concert are £15, to include a glass of wine and refreshments and available from the Almonry or from Sue Ablett on 07871 285606 or [email protected]
