STAFF at Basepoint Evesham celebrated the business centre’s 20th anniversary with a visit from David Smith from Worcestershire County Council.
Mr Smith unveiled a commemorative plaque and also played a part in the centre’s Networking Hub, a free networking event for local businesses.
He then took to the stage to deliver a presentation on ‘Enterprising Worcestershire’ – a programme which offers free
business support for start-ups and offers 50 per cent match-funded grants to selected businesses.
Ian Fenney, centre manager for Basepoint Evesham, said: “Basepoint has gone from strength to strength, growing from one centre in 1994 to thirty today and supporting thousands of businesses, so we are pleased to be able to commemorate this.
“We are thankful to all of the licensees and businesses who attended our celebrations and made it such an enjoyable event.”
