PERSHORE’s MP Harriett Baldwin popped pink on in the House of Commons to show her support for an annual fund-raiser for a breast cancer charity.
Mrs Baldwin lent her support to the event which calls on everyone to wear pink on October 18 to raise cash for Breast Cancer Now. All the money raised will help to fund vital breast cancer research and support.
“Each year, I try to support this national scheme and I was happy to join colleagues in Westminster wearing pink to raise awareness of the campaign and the date,” she said.
“Wear it Pink has raised £33million in the 17 years it has been running and it is such an easy way to support a good cause and raise vital funds.”
