AN AWARD-WINNING county photographer has donated a selection of pictures to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital’s new Meadow Birth Centre.

Clare Tebbett, whose company, Helter Skelter Photography is based in Stourport, has donated to the centre 10 large, framed colour prints of several of the photographs she took of Worcestershire babies, which won her recognition as one of the UK’s top 20 baby photographers for 2014.

The kind-hearted photographer will also donate all of her fees to the unit for any babies born there, whose proud parents have photos taken by her firm.

Clare, who struggled for years to have children herself knows first hand how precious babies and children are, set up her specialist new-born baby photography company, Helter Skelter to capture for families the perfect delight of their new babies.

“I am delighted to be able to give back something to the hospital which helped and cared for me and my own two children,” she said.

“Through my photographic artwork I aim to give people a lifelong memento of those special, magical moments. ”

Louise Turbutt, midwife and team leader at the Meadow Birth Centre, said: “We are thrilled with the photography that has been donated by Helter Skelter.

“The acrylics bring the walls to life and we have received numerous positive comments surrounding the quality of the pictures.

“They are a real feature of the birth centre. Clare was fantastic in supporting the team in choosing and mounting the prints.

“Her involvement has been invaluable and we are extremely grateful and proud to have her photos in the Meadow Birth Centre,” she added.
