YOUNG bookworms from St Barnabas CE First and Middle School in Drakes Broughton enjoyed tales from author Amy Douglas at a major county storytelling festival.
The two-week festival, in its 12th year, also known as Beeline, welcomed a host of renowned storytellers, authors, illustrators and dramatists who entertained more than 4,000 youngsters from schools across the region at the University of Worcester’s City Campus.
A family weekend saw further storytelling activities open to the public, including the chance to work with the Wallace and Gromit film creators, Aardman Animation.
