THREE men are wanted by police after they robbed a jewellery store in Broadway armed with a sledgehammer, an axe and a crowbar.
The offenders, wearing black balaclavas, forced entry to the store in The Green around 2.30pm on Wednesday, September 20 and attacked a member of staff before stealing valuable jewellery.
The member of staff suffered minor injuries during the attack and was left very shaken.
A blue Range Rover was seen leaving the scene and later found burnt out on Sainbury Hill in Broadway. It is believed they drove off in a black Mercedes afterwards, with the registration NC10 RWV.
Detective chief inspector, Chris Percival, said: ‘’We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed or has dash cam footage of a blue range rover or black Mercedes being driven around Broadway or who saw the range rover being set on fire on Saintbury Hill.’’
