Appeal for information after 'suspicious incident' at leisure centre

A WOMAN in her 30’s was allegedly filmed on a mobile phone during a ‘suspicious incident’ at Evesham Leisure Centre.

Police are appealing for information after officers were called to the Abbey Road centre at midday yesterday (Sunday) and have urged any witnesses to come forward if they saw anybody acting suspiciously or running away from the changing rooms.

The incident happened in the changing area where it is believed the victim was filmed on a mobile phone.

On their Facebook page, South Worcestershire Cops, said: “Evesham Police were called to deal with a suspicious incident at Evesham Leisure Centre.”




“Information is being sought from anybody that was in the changing rooms at midday and may have seen anybody acting suspiciously or running from the changing rooms,” they added.

Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to call police on 101 quoting incident number 232s of 10 January.
