Appeal for witnesses to robbery in Pershore

OFFICERS investigating a robbery in Pershore are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

It happened on Little Priest Lane shortly after 12.30pm today (Friday)

A woman in her 30s was walking along the street when a man is reported to have snatched her handbag, which contained a quantity of cash, from her shoulder.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was left shaken up by the incident while the man – who had his face covered and was thought to be wearing a dark hoody – ran off. There are no further descriptions of the man at this time.




Enquiries are currently ongoing but officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
