Evesham Editorial 5th Dec, 2016   0

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old man died in a crash on the A46 on Saturday (December 3).

At about 4pm a Vauxhall Corsa and a blue and white Scania lorry were involved in a collision on the bypass between the Twyford and Badsey roundabouts.

It’s believed the Corsa was travelling from the Twyford roundabout towards the Badsey roundabout and the lorry was travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Corsa, a 19-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry was not injured in the incident.

Road closures were put in place overnight whilst emergency services attended the scene.

West Mercia Police would now like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision. Any witnesses are urged to call on 101, quoting incident number 0465S of Saturday, December 3.
