THE WINNING designs from the Evesham Litter Free campaign school poster competition have been revealed.

Pupils from five schools across the town entered their designs- with the theme being keep Evesham tidy – for a chance for their posters to be displayed to raise awareness of the Litter Free campaign.

Zoe Sim from Swan Lane First School and Leah Price from St Egwins Middle School were announced as the winners by the judging panel made up of Mayor Coun Fred Kaler, Deputy Mayor Coun Richard Jones, campaign chairman Coun Gerry O’Donnell, Coun Jo Sandalls and Coun Robert Raphael.

Each winner received a £20 Tesco voucher and the winning school was also handed a £100 Tesco voucher which was donated by Evesham Town Council.

More than 18 pupils’ poster designs were also highly commended by the judges and their posters, along with the winning designs, have now gone on display in the foyer of Evesham’s Tesco.
