AN EVESHAM butcher has cooked up another tasty treat to raise cash for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Dave Purser of the Master Butcher on Avon Street has created the ‘Breast Unit Banger’, free-range pork with Worcestershire sauce, garlic, beetroot and ginger to raise money for the unit.
The popular butcher will make and sell the banger during Pink October, a campaign to highlight the importance of breast awareness, education and research. Ten per cent of the sales of the sausage will be donated to the unit
Dave’s wife Lisa is being supported by the Worcestershire Breast Unit for breast cancer.
“Lisa and I thought this would be a fun way to support the Worcestershire Breast Unit who have looked after her so well. We would love to sell as many as possible to raise funds for the charity,” he said.
