YOUNGSTERS involved in The Festival Players’ recent production of Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None celebrated with a get-together breakfast at the Applebarn restaurant at The Valley.
Stars of the stage met to check photographs of the production, exchange holiday stories and gifts, as well as celebrate at least one birthday. Actor Connor Hill was 16 on the day.
The Festival Players actors, directed by Eric Jones, were delighted with the reception which the play received in July from four audiences in Broadway, Bidford, The Arts Centre and at Number 8 in Pershore.
Hundreds enjoyed the Agatha Christie thriller; so much so that the group is planning another murder mystery next summer.
In the meantime, some of the proceeds from the most recent production will be used to fund a ‘free’ pantomime, of just about an hour in length, for the elderly folk at Bricklehampton Care Home in December and for any mums and dads of younger children who would like to see a ‘free’ pantomime in Evesham just before Christmas.
It will be a short, family version of Dick Whittington, perhaps suitable for those whose children have never seen a live show before.
Organisers hope to host the performance on Saturday, December 21.
